At my super-school they're four classes at Tuesday to Friday. School start at ten o'clock to one in the morning, and at three o'clock to five in the afternoon.
Today we have music, biology and I.T in the morning and P.E in the afternoon.
I like the school because the theachers are very funny and we don't have homework.

I read a book called “la puerta del tiempo”.
It was an adventury story about three boys called .
Int the story the boys found a magic door.
When they opened the door, they were a Egypt. They solve a lot of problems and return to house.
I liked the book because it was exiting and the characters were interesting.

Yesterday I was at fashion show in Barcelona and I interview to Esteban Cortázar. Esteban is a famous designer. He is very happy at the moment because he is making some very exciting new clothes.
Esteban had a good year last year because his designs are became very popular and he travelled to a lot of different countries. He was in a lot of magazines.
In July he is going to visit Tahiti for a hliday. After that he is going to prepare a new fashion show

AFRICA

The continent of Africa is enormuous. It has got an area of more than 30 milion km2 and it covers about on fifth of the world's land mass. Only the continent of Asia is bigger than Africa.

A large part of the continent consists of a high plateau and mountain ranger, including the Atlas an Rwenzori. The highest mountain is Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. Its peak is permanently covered in snow.

The continent has got some of the world's longest rivers, including the Nile, Niger, Zaire and Zambezi. The Nile is the longest river in Africa and flows through Sudan and Egypt to the Mediterranean Sea. In the east of the continent, there are many huge lakes. The largest lake is Lake Victoria, the second biggest lake in the worls.

The smallest country on the continent is Gambia. Sudan is the biggest country, while Madagascar is the larges insland.

The continent has got a wide varety of vegetation. Central Africa, on the equator, has got thick tropical rainforests. North of the rainforests is the worls's largest desert, the Sahara. Between the Sahara and the Mediterranean Sea is the fertile northern coast. A large part of the southern part of Africa is savannah, a dry plain with few trees and bushes; here, elephants, lions and other wild animals wander freely.

AUSTRALIA

Australia is the larges island in the worls, but it is the smallest continent. Most of the population lives along the southeastern coastline, while the interior of the country is largely unopolutate.

The first Europeans reached Australia when the Spanish explorer Luis Váez de Torres sailed through the Torres Strait in 1606.
The most famous British explorer to reach Australia was James Cook. in 1770, Captain Cook arrived at bay on the eastern side of the island. The bay had many unusual plants and flowers, so he named it Botany Bay.
The Britich decided to colonise the island for a number of reasons. First, British prisons were full. The government decided the best solution was to send prisoners to this faraway island. In addition, it was important for the British to have a navy base in the part of the worls. Finally, the Britich wantes yo strenghten economit ties between Britain and the region.

On 18th January, 1788, eleven ships carryng 732 prisoner landed at Botany Bay.
The British later moved north and built a settlement.
They called the new settlement Port Jackson. This was the beginning of modern Sydney, the most populated city in Australia.

Most Autralians are descendants of the early Europeans settlers. fter Worls War II, Australia began a programme to increase it number of immigrants. It still encourages immigration as a way to keep this enormous country populated.

I get up at seven o'clock in the morning. Then I wach my face - I have a shower in the evening. I get dressed, then I have brakfast.
I start school at nine o'clock.
I never have lunch at school. At five o'clock we finish school and we go home. At seven o'clock I do my homework, watch TV or have a shower

THE USA GOES GREEN

In February 2007, the film An Inconvenient Truth won the Academy Award (Oscar) for the best documentary. The film starts Al Gore, the Vice President of the USA from 1993 to 2001.
In the film, Gore tries to convince Americans to take action against global warming, and he discusses what will happen in the future if the situation continues.

What are the consequences of global warming?
According to Gore, the ice-caps in the North and South poles will continue to melt. This will make the level of the sea rise and low-lying cities will food.
Millions of people will need to move to safer areas. There will be more hurricanes like Katrina, the hurricane that destroyd the city of New Orleans in 2005.

However, the United States govermment isn't doing much to help the situation.
In 2001,37 countries around the woels signed the Kyoto Treaty. These countries promised to reduce carbon emissions- gases that cause global warming. The USA did not sig the treaty even trough the USA produces about 25% of the world's pollutants. Many Americans are trying to make the public more aware of environmental issues. Environmental groups are putting pressure on their government to change its policies. But time is running out. According to An Inconvenient Truth Gore, Americans have got ten years to make changes- after that it will be too late

Stars-Jesse McCartney

Jesse McCartney plays Brandin Westerly in the TV series "Sumerland".

At age seven, Jesse stared his acting career in the theatre. In 1998 he made his first appearance on television in the series "All My Children". In 2004 he started acting in the TV series "Summerland". He has also appeared in two films

In the TV series, Jesse plays one of the three childrens in the Westerly family. Their parents die in an accident and they move to California to start a new life with their aunt. Brandin (and Jesse!) learn t surf in California.

THE NUTRIENTS WE NEED


When our body digests food, the nutrients go to all parts of the body. These nutriens are proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals fats and water.

Every type of food contains different nutrients, so it's important to eat a healthy and varied diet.

Proteins help us grow and repair our body. We find them in meat, fish, milk, eggs and legumes.

Carbohydrates include starches and sugar and give us energy. They are found in bread, potatoes and rice.

Vitamins and minerals in vegetables and friut help us to grow and keep our body healthy because they product us from many illnesses.

Fats give us energy. There are two type of fat: animal fats in eggs, fish and meat, and vegetable fats in olives and nuts.

Water is also essential for our body because blood is mostly water. Water dissolves the nutrients and takes them to all parts of our body. Althoug humans can survive for an extended period without food, we can only survive for about three days without water.
